Don't miss Puyallup's Art and Wine Walk this Saturday from 1-6 PM!!!

This year's wine walk has become quite an art venue for ALL ARTS. In addition to Terre Verte at the Chamber, we will have 3 other artists in downtown shops (Paul Langston, Karen Lucus & Betty Wise), plus Lisa Stilnovich working on a piece in Deb Munson's honor. And the poet laureate for the state of WA, Sam Green! Also Fred Oldfield and the mime Aabztrakt Synergy and music in 2 or 3 sites!!

Are you interested in opening your working studio to the public and demonstrating how you make your work, entertaining questions or just helping raise the visibility of the arts in the community?

The event is free to the public. A map and publicity materials will be published and provided. Deadline for studio participants is June 1, 2008.
Quality, diversification, geographic location, and being a paid member of VAU are all criteria for participation in this annual event.

Chalk the Walk!!
In Front of the Puyallup Public Library

Kids of all ages, artists of all abilities are invited to “Chalk the Walk” on the sidewalk in front of the Puyallup Public Library (324 S. Meridian, downtown Puyallup) on Saturday, June 28 and Saturday, August 9 from 10 am to Noon.

There will be several artists available to model and help budding artists create sidewalk masterpieces.

This FREE community art program is sponsored by Valley Arts United, Puyallup Main Street Association Farmer’s Market, and the Puyallup Public Library. Many colors of chalk will be provided with plenty of sidewalk to fill-in with artsy designs. Rain or shine, don’t miss this chance to show off!
